A: The website migration service available at SGK Hosting is entirely free of charge and involves transferring all your files, databases and emails from your present provider to your brand–new hosting account with us. We will also edit all the configuration settings required for your sites to be completely functional on our ultra–modern cloud hosting platform.Our techs are fully capable of transferring any type of web site. With years of practical experience in this field, they are well–versed in the inner workings of our cloud hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other famous Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–built app with a lot of custom libraries is as easy as transferring a simple WordPress–based blog.

A: While we cannot give you a precise ETA, since there are a lot of factors, including the physical size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll give our best to move your web site within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (if the website content is not large).

A: We will require the login information for your old hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the web site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose pretty much the same info you have given to your old host. We also have an extremely strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how private information is tackled.

A: We support all Linux–powered hosting platforms. Basically, if we can access your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your website.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source web site creation platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
